(B) As pigment cells begin to migrate to the posterior pole, expression of AmqDelta3 is in cells found at the boundary between the two forming cell layers, including a group of cells located towards the anterior of the embryo (arrowhead). (D) At the early ring stage, expression has coalesced in the forming middle layer.
