Emerging Systems is a series of articles presenting established but lesser known experimental organisms – animals, plants or other. The series highlights the diversity of research questions and specific approaches developed in each species. The articles include practical information on culture, tools, resources and community that could encourage readers to explore new research directions. All articles are peer reviewed and conform to a specific format.
To propose an article for the series, please respond to the questions below. This information will help us to select and prioritise new topics. We will evaluate the suggestions that we receive on 2-month intervals. The series is open-ended, so there are no pre-defined deadlines. Please keep in mind that we can only handle a limited number of manuscripts in the series, so we may have to reject some worthy suggestions.
