In the juvenile, evx is expressed in the posterior end of the animal (arrowhead P′′) and in the lateral and dorsal nerve cords. Q′–R′′ cdx is expressed in posterior end of the larva during metamorphosis and in the posterior end and endoderm of the juvenile.
